Our elections team has an array of knowledge and expertise to assist community members in excercising our most important civil right, the right to vote. For your convenience we have provided you with email links to our various departments for timely answers and service.

The Vote-by-Mail Department:
- maintains and processes requests for voting by mail.
- processes mail ballots.
- processes Vote-by-Mail data requests for qualified candidates and committees.
The Candidate Services Department provides services to prospective candidates, including:
- instruction on becoming a candidate, filing, qualifying,and providing documentation.
- instruction covering campaign financial requirements and electronic filing.
- providing services to committees wishing to participate in an election.

The Election Worker Department is responsible for:
- Election Worker recruitment and staffing.
- training of Election Workers for Early Voting and Election Day polling places.
Media Inquiries, Event Scheduling, Voter Education - [email protected]
The Voter Outreach Department:
- provides nonpartisan education and outreach services to schools and the local community.
- maintains the Supervisor of Elections website and social media pages.
- manages election-related media and communication.
The Voter Services Department:
- maintains the voter registration roles for Lake County.
- registers voters.
- provides exceptional service to those voters who need to change their address, name, party affiliation and other aspects of their voter registration record.
