A Message from Alan Hays

Lake County's Supervisor of Elections

Due to the eminent threat of Hurricane Milton, our office will be closed from 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 8 until 8:00 AM Friday,
October 11.

At this time we plan to conduct Early Voting and Election Day voting as previously planned and published.

If the storm presents a need to change any polling places, we will notify everyone of those changes as soon as we determine what is needed. Please rest assured, the 2024 General Election will be taking place.

Thank you for your understanding and your patience as we navigate through this storm system.

I would also like to encourage all Lake Countians to visit AlertLake.com, the emergency notification system for Lake County, and register to receive alerts for our county.

Please plan appropriately to stay safe and protect your family.

Respectfully yours,

Alan Hays
Supervisor of Elections
Lake County, FL
