Early Voting for the 2022 Primary Election - Thursday, August 11, 2022

Early Voting will be held August 11th-20th from 10:00AM-6:00PM at twelve convenient locations throughout Lake County.

During Early Voting, voters may choose any one of the following twelve locations to cast their ballot.

  • Cagan Crossings Library

  • Clermont Arts and Recreation Center

  • Cooper Memorial Library

  • Eustis Service Center

  • Lady Lake Community Building

  • Lake County Agricultural Center

  • Minneola City Hall

  • East Lake Library Location

  • Southside Umatilla Community Center

  • Lake County Supervisor of Elections Office

  • Venetian Center

  • W.T. Bland Public Library

A Secure Ballot Intake Station (formerly known as drop boxes) will be available at each Early Voting location for those voters who wish to return their completed Vote-by-Mail Ballot.

Notice of Precinct/Polling Place Changes - Monday, August 8, 2022

Notice of Precinct/Polling Place Changes Lake County Supervisor of Elections, Alan Hays announces polling place changes which will be in effect for the upcoming 2022 Primary Election.

Voters impacted by these polling place changes should have received updated Voter Information Cards denoting their new polling place location. Voters are strongly encouraged to check their Voter Information Card for their assigned precinct. Voters may also visit the Lake County Supervisor of Elections website at or call the Supervisor of Elections office for up-to-date precinct and polling location information: 352-343-9734.

As a reminder, voters are required to vote at their assigned precinct on Election Day (if not using Early Voting or Vote-by-Mail). Early Voting is scheduled for August 11th-August 20th, please check the Supervisor of Elections website at for locations and hours. The last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot for the 2022 Primary Election is August 13th.

On Election Day, signage will be placed at the old polling place locations to direct voters to the new locations.

BALLOTTRAX--A New Resource for Lake County Voters - Monday, August 1, 2022

Supervisor of Elections, Alan Hays, is pleased to announce the implementation of BallotTrax, a complete mail ballot locator and notification system to enhance the vote-by-mail experience of Lake County voters.

The significance of BallotTrax for Lake Countians is an increase in voter confidence said Hays. “With BallotTrax, voters can track when their vote-by-mail ballot was mailed out from our office, when it was received by our office and even be alerted to issues such as signature verification or returned undeliverable. They can even sign up to receive notifications and alerts in time frames which are convenient for their life-style,” stated Hays.

The signup process is simple and secure with customizable notifications. The Supervisor of Elections Office encourages voters to take advantage of this resource tool for the peace of mind it offers for the mail-in process.
